(AP)President Barack Obama plans a natio - President Barack Obama plans a nationally televised address Tuesday night from the Oval Office on his administration's efforts to contain the massive oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.
The address is scheduled for 8 p.m. EDT.
It will be the first time Obama has spoken to the nation from the solemn venue of the Oval Office.
The president, who is trying to show the public he is in command of the situation, will take to the airwaves hours after he returns to Washington from the his fourth trip to a Gulf region suffering from the oil coming ashore in coastal areas of Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida.

MYFOXNY.COM - In honor of Flag Day, Good Day New York's Christal Young took a ride in an American Flag balloon that it the largest free-flying flag in the world.
The flag balloon is just 1 of 125 hot air balloons from around the world that will be flying at the 28th annual Quick Chek New Jersey Festival of Ballooning in Association with PNC July 23-24-25 at Solberg Airport in Readington, NJ.
It is the largest summertime hot air balloon and music festival in North America. About 175,000 people are expected over the 3 day event.
